Google search engine is an important entity when a user needs to search a topic but if you often face the issue of Google not working,
go through following quick fixes to resolve the issue immediately:
1. Ensure that your phone is not working in airplane mode:
Sometimes it happens by mistake that user puts the phone into
airplane mode and so, when phone is in airplane mode, then, there is
no network connectivity due to which google search does not work. To
turn on the network connection, go through following procedure:
Go to the Settings app.
In the Settings app, go to Wireless & networks.
Tap on More under Wireless & networks.
Turn off the Airplane Mode.
2. Check if phone has network connectivity: Whether you are using wi -fi
or data using your smartphone, check if you have turned on the
network.
If you still face the issue of google not working, then, go through following to fix the issue:
3. Restart the google app: Restart resolves even minor issues, so, try
this simple troubleshooting step and check if it makes your Google.
4. Another troubleshooting step is restarting the device.
5. Update the Google app: Updating resolves multiple issues. New version of an app resolves the bugs of older versions. So, updating the app sweeps the issue and makes google to work faster.
6. If you are already known to above processes and still getting the issue and puzzled over why is google not working on my phone, then, go through following and clear the Google app cache:
Go to the Settings app of the smartphone.
In the Settings app, under Device, tap on Apps or Application Manager.
In the Google app cache, the user needs to select Google app.
In the Google app, tap on Clear Cache.
